Knowing the Times

and Seasons

This is a season of warfare. Governments are colliding. War games are escalating.

But I am not talking only about the global crises we read and hear about every day. This is an accelerated time in the spiritual realm, as well, and for dreamers and lovers it could not be more exciting. If you have resurrection anointing, the resurrection power living inside of you, then everywhere you go you are dangerous to the enemy. You are part of a radical army carrying out orders of the King of glory.

I believe that we are in a time just like the days before Jesus was born. Angels appeared; people spoke with prophetic voices; prayers for God’s presence were answered. He is coming to earth again, this time to set up His Kingdom.

It is a thrilling adventure for the Bride. What spurs us on? The breaking in of the supernatural—the “suddenlies” of God. These experiences inspire us to become holy revolutionaries and see souls won for the Kingdom. All we need is one dream, one visitation. We can be driving down the road and have an open vision. We can be in an elevator, a market, an airplane, and God will work through us. We cannot brag and say it is anything we have done; it is a place of humility. Many times God provides us with prophetic words or visions in order to give us credibility with our hurt and dying world.

Once when I was ministering in Utah, some women from the conference gave me the gift of a massage. As I was enjoying this treat, the young gal who was giving it to me said, “I don’t feel very good.” I started praying silently in the Spirit, thinking I would give her strength.

All of a sudden she screamed, fell to the floor and began manifesting demonic spirits. I looked over the edge of the table and the Lord gave me a word of knowledge. He told me that her boyfriend was a Satanist and had cursed her. Many more words of freedom followed as I took her through deliverance right there.

When we have God living in our hearts, His presence surrounds us like a force field, moving around us and penetrating darkness wherever we go. The more we walk in deep intimacy with Jesus, the greater the field of His presence. I have read that when nineteenth-century revivalist Maria Woodworth-Etter ministered to people, reports circulated that the presence and power of God touched people sovereignly, miles from where her meetings were being held!

As warriors we have the glory of God coming out of us all the time—even though the glory does not belong to us. That is why the demons in the young woman giving the massage reacted within her.
